The Leonardo Technology

Leonardo is a Spunbonding Technolgy especially designed for producing Polyester Felts suitable for Geotextile and Roofing applications (GR version), and it is based on the proven Toray technology, largely used on this kind of production.

The LT version is designed for producing lightweght Polyester fabrics for technical applications.

The main technical features and process steps are below summarized.

			JET TUBES SPINNING The Spinning occurs through several individual Spinnerets, and the Stretching through Jet Tubes which performs cooling at same time. Jet Tubes perform up to 5500 m/min filaments Speed, and Lay Down is activelly controlled for perfect and constant fabric thickness distribution.
